When I was growing up my mother always made her own spaghetti sauce using the recipe on the Mueller’s lasagna box. Where can I find that recipe?
Yes I am looking for the Meat sauce recipe that was on the spaghetti box years ago (1980s and ‘90s). It was easy to make but didn’t involve the shortcut products they list in the recipes here on this site. If anyone would truly have their old classic recipes you would think you could find them here but such is not the case. So disappointing! Please post the old classics in addition to the newer quick recipes for those of us who enjoy cooking.
Ditto for the above comments.
I remember my older sister making “THE” lasagna recipe from the box, sometime around the 60’s? Pretty sure she used cottage cheese instead of ricotta & hamburger (ground beef) instead of Italian sausage. Is this the recipe? From the comments above, I’m thinking no??https://www.muellerspasta.com/recipes/classic-sausage-lasagna/
Thanks, Bev
