Angel Hair with Marinara

Angel hair with marinara is the simplest of pasta dishes. Completely customizable, you can add your favorite ingredients to make it your own.

Ingredients
 16 ounces Mueller’s® Angel Hair
 2 tablespoons olive oil
 3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
 2 large garlic cloves, chopped
 3/4 cup dry white wine
 1 (14-ounce) can peeled tomatoes, drained and chopped
 1 teaspoon dried basil
 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
 3/4 teaspoon salt
 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Cooking Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well and set aside.

While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a medium non-stick saucepan, over medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook 3 to 4 minutes, or until soft.

Add wine to pan, bringing to a boil over high heat. Cook for about 2 minutes, or until wine is reduced by half.

Stir in tomatoes, basil, and parsley. Cook, stirring occasionally, 3 to 5 minutes, or until sauce thickens. Reduce heat to medium.

Pour pasta and sauce into a warmed, large bowl and toss together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
