This rich and cheesy sauce is easier than you think!
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for about one minute until aromatic.
Stir in 3/4 cup of cream or half and half, and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to thicken.
Stir in remaining 1/2 cup of cream, cheese, salt, and pepper until combined and cheese is melted.
Toss pasta and sauce together, serve immediately.
