I made a huge casserole of this as a gift to some family members ….it was absolutely delicious and thye loved it! A wonderful comfort casserole bursting with flavor. They served it with a side of vegetables and it was large enough to have leftovers the next day. I highly recommend ..wonderful !
Sounds like a great meal. I want to make for a friend who recently had surgery and so it as a freezer meal. Do I make to the baking point and freeze? Or, go ahead and bake and freeze to just be warmed later?
This is my go-to baked ziti recipe. It is so easy and so tasty! And it’s easy to make up several at a time and put them in the freezer. Then, when I need to take a meal to someone, it’s ready to go. I even split some into half recipes for my husband and I to eat, and it lasts us for two to three meals.
